Legislating from the Bench
There was a reason our Founding Fathers designed the government in the manor in which they did, we have different levels of government for checks and balances. When judges legislate from the bench everyone loses. I am sure Sonia Sotomayer makes both Latin Americans especially those from Puerto Rico and women very happy, but I am not happy because this Judge wants to legislate from the bench. On May 19th I posted an article about how 73% of aspiring teachers failed the math section of the elementary school teacher's licensing exam. This is the type of Judge if faced with their case would allow those who failed into the classroom. This is not good for anyone. Read more about Judge Sonia Sotomayer on the Heritage Foundation's website.
